Make your own DIY water sensory bin

water sensory bin 1 cropped

Using an old storage bin, starter chopsticks, pom poms, measuring cups, dollar tree ladles, and letter erasers from target’s bargain section you can make your very own DIY water sensory bin!

We particularly love the starter chopsticks because it works fine motor strength and coordination, needed for writing and utensil use!

If your kiddo is having a hard time with starter chopsticks, you can use tongs, measuring cups, or even a ladle to scoop!

The letters add a great letter recognition and direction following component to this the sensory bin!

The pom poms added to the bin partially obscure the letters, making it a little harder. To adjust the difficulty of the exercise, add or remove pom poms. The pom poms partially obscure the eraser letters and make it easier/harder depending on how many there are in the bin.
